Animation
The process of animation is both satisfying and challenging, offering a unique blend of creativity and problem-solving. Watching my animations evolve from still frames into lively, dynamic sequences is deeply rewarding, making the entire experience both enjoyable and fulfilling. These projects bellow was done in the following software:
Maya, Blender, Mudbox, ToonBoom Harmony, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Short film

After the loss of his mother, Akhona and his father attempt to find a middle ground between their different means of grieving. Lihle copes with his grief through forging his way through life as usual whilst his child Akhona takes time to live in the memory of his mother through escapism by means of an imaginary cloud-like realm where he can still be with her.
As Akhona leans further into his imagination he drift further away from his father. After seeing his father express his pain when thinking Akhona is not present, Akhona comes to the realisation that he shouldn’t let the past cloud his present and opens up to his father allowing them to grieve together.
Cloudline project
This was my 3rd year project during my studies at The Animation School.
I am only accountable for these animation shots and part of the rigging.

Storyboarding
Storyboards I got to work on during my studies at The Animation School. First one is a story of a robot trying to get his master to build a robot friend. Second story is about a boy that mourns the death of his mother in a unique way.
Forest practice
This was just for fun. I designed a forest in Photoshop and decided to make a little animation.

Internship project
This project was most challenging. I had a 2 week deadline to complete building the world, rigging, animate, light and render. But it was fun!
Adrian walk cycle
This project was done during my first years of studies at The Animation School. This character loves ninja's. I did a walk cycle based on his personality.

Adrian talking
This was also done during my 1st year of studies. I had to create a scene where my character uses speech and that shows his personality.
Skyla Force and Weight
This was done in my 2nd year of studies at The Animation School. I was doing a force and weight exercise with the 3D character that I created.

Skyla Performance
This was done at the end of our second year at The Animation School. I had to do a character performance. Everything is created by me.
